Last updated: 23 October 2026
This notice explains how MEGHA IT SERVICES LIMITED looks after the personal information you give us through this website and when you contact us. We have written it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us and we will explain.
1. Who we are
MEGHA IT SERVICES LIMITED (“we”, “us”) is a company registered in England & Wales, company number 17511775. Our registered office is 96 St. Awdrys Road, Barking, England, IG11 7QD.
We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about it at info@meghaitservices.co.uk.
2. What information we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, business email address, the service you are asking about, your message, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Correspondence: emails and other messages you send us, and our replies.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records basic connection details when you visit (for example your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time) in server logs, so the site can be delivered and kept secure.
We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health details). Please do not include it in your message.
3. How we use it, and why
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal or contract. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running our business and answering people who contact us, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep this website secure and working properly. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
- To meet our legal and regulatory duties, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Our lawful basis is legal obligation or legitimate interests.
We do not add you to a marketing list because you used the contact form. We will only send you marketing with your consent, or where the law otherwise allows it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
4. Who we share it with
- Our hosting and form-handling provider, Netlify, which receives form submissions and server logs on our behalf.
- The providers of our email and IT systems, which store and process our messages.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, where we need their advice.
- Courts, regulators or law enforcement, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some of our providers, including Netlify, may process information outside the UK. When that happens we make sure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as an adequacy arrangement or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to any work: up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then we delete them.
- If you become a client: for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards, which is the usual period for legal claims.
- Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider, which is short.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information in certain situations;

- ask for information you gave us to be sent to you or another organisation in a usable format, where this applies.
To use any of these rights, email info@meghaitservices.co.uk. We aim to reply within one month. We may need to check your identity first. There is normally no charge.
8. Complaints
We would like the chance to put things right, so please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by phone on 0303 123 1113.
9. Cookies
This website does not set cookies of its own. You can read more in our Cookie Notice.
